Samsung S23 Ultra Astro Photos
The star images below were shot with the S23 Ultra on a tripod. Some photos were shot with extra optical aid (monocular, binocular or a telephoto lens).
Either the 4 min astro-mode or the Pro mode was used. Sharp star images require
the focus for infinity distance be manually adjusted carefully. The focus setting for the cameras used (x1 W, x3 TP, and x10 Periscope without extra digital zoom) were different
(0.90, 0.70 and 0.62 respectively for my smartphone). Photos were taken in a Bortle 4 location (rural/suburban transition).
Unless specified otherwise, the images below are uncropped with the default 4:3 aspect ratio and 12 MP sensor.
The default (without extra digital zoom) FOV angular dimensions are approximately:
72° x 57° (x1 W camera)
28° x 21° (x3 TP camera)
8.6° x 6.5° (x10 TP Periscope camera)
