Full Sky 24-hour Time-Lapse Sky Simulations for Different Latitudes

The three 24-hour time-lapse simulations for Apr 29, 2024 below show the complete half-sky "fisheye lens" for the North Pole, 45° N, and the Equator. The simulations were generated using Stellarium Mobile Plus with a time lapse x1000 and captured with a Samsung S23 Ultra using the built-in screen-recorder app. The time starts at 4:30 am EDT. The simulation date is in the "midnight sun" range for the North Pole. In the images below, the Big Dipper and the North Star (Polaris) are shown for orientation. The center of each view is the zenith point (direct overhead) for each of the latitudes. Click each image to view the animation (1min 25sec each).
