Detect Files via Scripted Signed Java Applet

This page uses JavaScript (both Communicator4+ and IE4+) and a simple signed Java applet to check the existence of several specific system files on both C and D drives using LiveConnect for Netscape and ActiveX scripting for IE (both essentially just JavaScript to public Java applet calls). If the file is found, its size is displayed. To support both major browsers, the applets are packaged differently.
